The
President of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), Hon. Chief Fortune Charumbira on Sunday arrived Niamey, where he held
consultations with H.E. Mohammed Bazoum,
President of the Republic of Niger.
The
two leaders discussed various topics including peace and security, regional
integration, and support for the Pan-African Parliament in discharging its
mandate.

President Hon. Chief Fortune Charumbira
and his delegation were on arrival to the country, hosted to an official dinner
by President Bazoum. They were
joined by members of the Nigerien delegation to the Pan-African Parliament.
While
in Niger, the President of the Pan-African Parliament will also hold a working
meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly.
