2019: Why Saraki is qualified to run for Presidency – Dele Momodu

The publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu has reacted to Senate President, Bukola Saraki’s declaration to run for presidency in 2019 election.

While fielding questions from Nigerians on Twitter about the Senate Presidents’ declaration, Momodu said Saraki was ’eminently qualified’ to contest against all odds.

According to him, Saraki’s leadership at the Senate has been a success and no government had succeeded in charging any fraud case against the Senate President.

Momodu tweeted: “Every man has a right to aspire, Saraki is eminently qualified. Best wishes to all aspirants.

“Reality check; neither Jonathan nor Buhari governments succeeded in proving any case against him. He has led a multi-party Senate with great poise and commendable success for over three years before trouble started again because of suspected Presidential ambition.

“Saraki is also a Northerner from the North Central.”

On reports that the Senate President hijacked ‘NotTooYoungToRun’ programme, Momodu said Saraki’s declaration on the youth platform should be a big honour.

“Unless there was another event we did not see, it should have been a big honour to NotTooYoungToRun that a major aspirant declared on their platform. What is the essence of a hawk that can’t catch chickens?” He queried.
