PAP Leadership Structures meet ahead of Session (see photos)

A Joint Meeting of the Bureau of the Pan-African Parliament, Bureaux of the Permanent Committees, Regional Caucuses, Women’s Caucus and Youth Caucus took place on Friday ahead of the opening Session on Monday.

Held under the Chairmanship of the President of the Pan-African Parliament, H.E. Hon. Chief Fortune Charumbira, the leadership structures of the Continental Parliament were  the briefed on the programme of the Second Ordinary Session of the Sixth Parliament scheduled to take place from 15 May to 2 June 2023 at the seat of the Parliament in Midrand, South Africa.

The Session will be guided by the AU theme of the year for 2023: “The Year of AfCFTA: Acceleration of the African Continental Free Trade Area Implementation.”
