The Independent National Electoral Commission has disclosed that it
would on Thursday issue certificate of return to all candidates elected
in the last general election.
However, INEC said it would not issue certificate to
Rochas Okorocha Okorocha of the All Progressives Congress in Imo West.
According to a statement posted on INEC website on Monday, the declaration of Okorocha as winner was made under
duress, hence, the reason he won’t be among those billed to be issued
certificate on Thursday, March 14.
The event would take place at the Africa Hall of the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
A statement by Rose Orianaran-Anthony, INEC secretary said all candidates are expected to be on ground before 10am.
