Ayodele Fayose |
Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has reacted to the outcry by Governor Masari that Katsina State was under the siege by armed robbers and kidnappers.
It would be recalled that Gov. Masari, during the opening ceremony
of an extra-ordinary security meeting in Katsina, said “The citizens
are on daily basis being harassed by bandits and kidnappers that are on
rampage in the state.”
Reacting in a post on his Twitter page, Fayose stated that perhaps
the comment would make President Muhammadu Buhari stop playing the
Ostrich over the worsening insecurity in the country.
He tweeted, “Now that the Governor of Katsina State, Bello Masari has
cried out that the home-state of President Buhari is under siege by
armed robbers, bandits, kidnappers, may be the President will stop
playing ostrich to the worsening state of insecurity in the country.”
