COVID-19: Africa records 7,123 cases, 289 deaths


The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) in a twit on Friday said that there are now 7,123 confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in 50 countries across Africa.
According to the tweet, COVID-19 had killed 289 people in Africa, while a total of 592 patients have recovered from the deadly disease across the continent.
