Former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso has declared his support for former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.
The Senator representing Kano Central at the Senate stated that Atiku will emerge the next president of Nigeria in 2019.
He also commended the Wazirin Adamawa for selecting former Anambra governor, Peter Obi, as his running mate.
Kwankwaso spoke on Saturday when he led members of the Kwakwansiya
Movement, on a visit to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in
Abuja.
Kwankwaso was one of the contestants who vied for the PDP ticket at
the party’s national convention last weekend in Port Harcourt, the
Rivers State capital.
He came fourth behind Atiku, Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal and Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
