Saraki reacts to APC statement calling him unworthy of Senate Presidency

Senate President Bukola Saraki has reacted to the All Progressives Congress (APC) claims on Thursday that he was not fit for the exalted position.

In an earlier statement by Yekini Nabena, APC Acting National Publicity Secretary, the party described the former Kwara State Governor  as a “traitor”.

Reacting through his spokesman, Yusuph Olaniyonu, Saraki said APC had not recovered from Tuesday’s “failed attempt” to change the leadership of the Senate.

He said: “We can’t descend into the gutter with these characters. Apparently they have not recovered from the shock of their Tuesday’s failed attempt to subvert democracy.“
